Schedule
The first round of presentations will be made on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Campus Center building between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Please take a brief moment to read through these helpful hints.
Directions and Parking:
Free parking can be found on the quad or at the Higgins House parking lot. Please lock your car and place navigation systems out of site. Theft of these devices in our area is increasing.
Parking for WPI Venture Forum Events
Arrival time:
Please arrive 30 minutes earlier than your presentation time in the main lobby of the Campus Center building for a photograph and to receive directions to your venue.
Food:
Coffee and breakfast items are sold in the Food Court on the first level of the Campus Center starting at 8:00 AM. Also, there is a Dunkin Donuts on the second level.
Venues:
A master venue plan will be placed at the Campus Center Information Desk in the event that you can't find WPI Venture Forum personnel when you arrive. Presentations will take place in five rooms. The Campus Center rooms are as follows: Third floor: Mid-Century Room and Peterson Room; second floor: Morgan Room; and first floor: Chairman's Room and Taylor Room.
Audio Visual Equipment:
Laptops, screens, and projectors are provided. Internet access is available only from our laptops. Laptops contain the most recent version of Microsoft software. Please bring your presentation on a thumb drive or a CD. When you finish answering judges' questions, please delete your presentation from the desktop and the recycle bin if you transferred it from the device you brought.
