The first round of presentations will be made on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Campus Center building between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Please take a brief moment to read through these helpful hints.
Directions and Parking:
Free parking can be found on the quad or at the Higgins House parking lot. Please lock your car and place navigation systems out of site. Theft of these devices in our area is prevalent.
Parking for WPI Venture Forum Events
Arrival time:
Please arrive 30 minutes earlier than your presentation time in the main lobby of the Campus Center building for a photograph and to receive directions to your venue.
Coffee:
There will be coffee available by the Campus Center building Information Desk on the second level.
Venues:
The Campus Center rooms are as follows: First floor: Chairman’s Room and Taylor Room. Second floor: Morgan Room. Third floor: Mid-Century Room and Peterson Room. A staging area is on the third floor in the Peterson Room, for testing your thumb drive on our laptop.
Audio Visual Equipment:
Laptops, screens, and projectors are provided. Internet access is available only from our laptops. Laptops contain the Microsoft 2010 software. Please bring your presentation on a thumb drive or a CD. When you finish answering judges’ questions, please delete your presentation from the desktop and the recycle bin if you transferred it from the device you brought.
