Monthly Programs

Monthly Programs are held on the second Tuesday of each month, September through June, at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in the Campus Center Odeum room. Programs are educational and provide networking opportunity in a friendly and open atmosphere. Some months feature a guest speaker, case presentation and expert panel critique, while other months feature interactive multi-panel discussions. The November program is our Business Plan Contest, where selected finalists present their plans to the audience and a winner is announced that evening. Many entrepreneurs from the previous June's Five-Minute Pitch Contest enter the Business Plan Contest. Regardless of the program's design, audience members are highly encouraged to be interactive with presenters. The Monthly Programs also provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to deliver a one-minute Elevator Pitch for funding. See "Spotlight on Entrepreneurs" for guidelines.

An admission fee of $15 for $50 members and $30 for non-members is payable by cash, credit cards, or checks written to the "WPI Venture Forum". Admission is free for $125 members, WPI faculty, and students. The WPI Venture Forum is a non-profit program, therefore admission is tax-deductible. Pizza and beverages are available at each program. Register and pay in advance and you will have a printed name tag waiting for you at the registration table.
