Directions and Parking
The Campus Center is located behind the Higgins House, pictured here.
There's plenty of free parking for WPI Venture Forum events. We recommend choosing either the Higgins House parking lot or the Quad lot (for Accessible parking). WPI Venture Forum programs are held in the Campus Center building and occasionally in an academic building when greater events conflict.
The Higgins House parking lot is very convenient, but does not have the best handicap accessibility to the Campus Center (see next paragraph for the best accessible parking). The Higgins House lot is located at Salisbury Street and John Wing Road. Enter "One John Wing Road" (Worcester, MA) using a mobile navigator system or Internet mapping software or see the downloads below.
The best handicap accessible parking is located on the Quad parking lot in front of the Alumni Gym. The Quad lot is accessible from West Street and Institute Road by driving straight through the intersection onto the campus, under the footbridge and taking an immediate left into the lot.

From the Mass Pike
Take the Mass Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 10A (RT 146-Millbury). Follow signs to RT 146 North/Worcester. In a few miles, the right lane of Route 146 will merge onto I-290 East. From I-290, take Exit 17, RT 9 (Ware/Framingham). Turn left at top of ramp onto RT 9/Belmont Street. Stay in the right lane, and before the second traffic light, merge right onto Lincoln Street and drive immediately into the left lane. At the traffic light, curve left onto Salisbury Street. (This the beginning of Salisbury Street.) Proceed west on Salisbury Street through three blocks and traffic lights. Pass the Worcester Art Museum on the left, Institute Park on the right, and turn left onto John Wing Road just before the Park Avenue intersection. John Wing Road is a narrow, oak tree-lined street that looks like a private driveway. Make an immediate right into the parking lot. *See below for directions to the Campus Center venue from the parking lot.
From the North
Take I-495 south to I-290 west into Worcester. Take Exit 18 (Lincoln Sq., Rte. 9), turn right at end of ramp, stay in right lane, merge right at fork before traffic light. This is the beginning of Salisbury Street. Proceed west on Salisbury Street through three traffic lights. Pass the Worcester Art Museum on the left, Institute Park on the right, and turn left onto John Wing Road just before the Park Avenue intersection. John Wing Road is a narrow, oak tree-lined street that looks like a private driveway. Make an immediate right into the parking lot.

The Campus Center building is located behind the Higgins House. From the parking lot, walk towards the house, then under the brick arch on the left side and up the small set of stairs. At the top of the stairs, to the right, is a blacktop path that leads to a patio area entrance behind the Campus Center building. Take the elevator or stairs to the Odeum room on the third floor.
