Ask the Experts
Ask the Experts is featured during Monthly Program networking times giving an opportunity to bring questions to experts in diverse fields. Times: 5:30-6:30, 7:30-7:45, and 8:30-9:00 p.m.
The program attendees include many service providers such as consultants, technical writers, web designers, patent attorneys, real estate brokers, and finance related professionals. They provide the infrastructure for the budding or burgeoning entrepreneur. Their interest in the expert table ranges from networking as a partner for a prospective client to a review of an expert table’s competitive information. Service providers provide the bulk of our sponsors and expert table members. They will want to know how you interface with the prospective customer. What your role is. They are thinking about how you can work with them.
WPI, Clark, Worcester State, Holy Cross and other educational institutions may have faculty and students at the program. Through either an intellectual curiosity or from a potential entrepreneurial viewpoint. They want to know why your services are needed. How can you help them if they decide to become an entrepreneur? What is the background of your firm principals? Do you hire interns?
The entrepreneur needs as much information as possible and enjoys success stories. Why is your service different than all the other providers? Why do they need your service? What is your market niche, if any? Hands-on technical experts are needed with perhaps a marketing/sales person to follow up on potential leads.
