About
The WPI Venture Forum office is located in the Washburn Shops building, Room 216B
The WPI Venture Forum is the only non-profit organization in central Massachusetts serving those developing and servicing new technologies and/or technology ventures. Funding for operations is derived solely through sponsorships, memberships, and program admission.
Programs, workshops, and networking events relevant to technology entrepreneurship are created by a corps of volunteers. The audience breaks down roughly into entrepreneurs, service providers, investors, faculty members, students, and job seekers, many seeking peer advice, professional services, and partners or investors.
WPI Venture Forum activities include ten Monthly Programs, ten newsletters, several workshops and networking events, a weekly radio program, an annual Business Plan Contest and a Five-Minute Pitch Contest.
Directed by a volunteer Executive Board comprised of regional business and service organization leaders, many of whom are WPI alumni, the WPI Venture Forum is a program of the Collaborative for Entrepreneurship & Innovation in the School of Business at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
